Penang Government will be introducing a park and ride service for people staying in Prai and working on the Island.   This service will start on Mar 2011.  The commute will be from Seberang Jaya on the mainland to the factories in Bayan Lepas (including Sunshine in Bayan Baru). The free bus service will run 6am to 9am and from 4pm to 7pm on Mondays to Fridays. This is one of the Green initiatives of the Penang government as well as to help fight the increase in fuel prices.  This follows another initiative of no plastic bag for the supermarkets and fast food outlets.  This shows the political will of the local government to help save our environment and create greater awareness. It's been a while since I posted here.  The reason is because I have been busy writing on Triond instead of here. There are very good writers and articles there and I am receiving more comments there too. Seems that more serious articles such as  Five Problems with Contact Lenses  are getting more hits.  However, I am doing more fictional children stories because this is the one my children demand every night.  I do, however, punish them by withholding stories when: They misbehave - fighting, crying and shouting. When they insist on staying late - way past their bedtime.
